Joe graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2016 before completing his MA as an apprentice for MotionHouse. Joe has since worked with companies Experiential, Ballet Lorent, Hit The Ground Running, Wired Aerial Theatre, Company Nil, Gary Clarke and toured internationally with Southpaw Dance Company.

In 2018, Joe spent some time in Lebanon before collaborating with Ellen on refugee dance projects in the North of England. As Assistant Director and Artist of Ellen Hathaway Dance Company, Joe performs works of high cultural significance and assists directing refugee community projects funded by Arts Council, Lancashire County Council’s Refugee Integration Team, and Dance City.
